"The inspiration for this painting came on a winter day when my mind took a little vacation," the artist comments, "traveling back to a camping trip into the lake country. The memory made me appreciate again the rich wonder of nature. How fortunate we are to still have wilderness places that can evoke feelings of being 'outside of time'."
