Winter's first snowfall gently blankets the farm stead. From the silent woods three deer emerge, then gracefully bound across the field and easily clear the fence, observed only by the rusty implement. "Evening Run" recalls such a scene in the artist's life. "Watching a trio of whitetail deer in their natural habitat, even if only for a fleeting moment, leaves a lasting impression. It is those impressions from the wild that I like to re-live and bring to life in my studio."
