He would always return home from camping trips to Denali National Park reinvigorated, impressed and inspired by the area's vastness and beauty. Caribou, he felt, exemplified an animal that could survive only in an area untouched by humans. It's likely no one was within miles of Steve when he was taking the photos this image is based upon, an idea he would have appreciated."
